A fresh perspective.
Your collection.

Send me a list of what you own and what you want from it. I'll go through it the way I build the indexes, against real eBay sales, and give you my honest read: where your collection is strong, where it's exposed, and what I'd keep an eye on.

What I look at

The same topics covered in Learn the market, applied to your cards and sealed product.

Concentration

How much rides on a few items

How much of your collection's value sits in one card, one set, one Pokémon or one era, and what a drop there would do to the whole.

Liquidity

How easy it would be to sell

How often items like yours sell on eBay, how long a sale might take at a fair price, and what fees and shipping would take out.

Supply

Reprint risk

Which of your sets are still in print or could be reprinted, and how reprints have moved prices of similar products before.

Grading

Graded or raw

Which raw cards might be worth grading once fees, wait times and the odds of a high grade are counted, and which are fine as they are.

Prices

Where your bigger items stand

Recent eBay sold prices for your most valuable items, read the same way the indexes are priced, so you have a rough picture.

Benchmarks

Which Holo indexes match

The indexes that track what you hold, such as CHAR for PSA 9 Charizards or SVSL for Scarlet & Violet sealed, so you can compare over time.

What you get

  • My take on each area aboveIn plain language, with the reasons behind it.
  • A short list of what I'd watchItems that look exposed, slow to sell or close to a reprint, and any cards that might be worth a grading look.
  • The indexes to measure againstSo you can check how your collection is doing against the market each month.

How it works

  1. Book and pay

Use the booking link on this page once it opens. Payment runs through the payment provider's checkout, not through this site.

  2. Send your list

Email a list or spreadsheet to the address in the booking box: card name, set, number, and grade (or raw or sealed). Add what you want from the collection, such as holding for years, selling soon or finishing a set. Photos help for raw cards. Never mail your cards.

  3. Have your conversation

Choose the full portfolio interview with no time limit, or a quick talk of up to 15 minutes. The booking details will explain how to join. If something on your list is unclear, I'll ask before we start.

Before you book

  • I'm not a licensed financial advisor. The review is my opinion as a collector, for education and entertainment. It isn't financial, legal or tax advice.
  • There are no guarantees.Cards and sealed product can lose value, and they can be slow or hard to sell. Past prices don't promise future ones.
  • I never hold your cards or your money.I don't buy, sell, trade or manage cards for anyone. Every decision about your collection stays yours.
  • I may own cards that come up.If I own a card in your collection or one I mention, the review says so.

Questions

Do I need to send my cards?

No. Never mail your cards. A list is all I need, and photos help for raw cards.

Will you tell me what to buy or sell?

You'll get my honest opinion and the reasons behind it, including what looks exposed and what I'd keep an eye on. It's one collector's view, not a recommendation from a licensed advisor, and the decision is always yours. I don't buy or sell anything on anyone's behalf.

Is this an appraisal?

No. I use recent eBay sold prices to give you a rough picture, but the review isn't an appraisal for insurance, taxes or a sale.

Do you share my list?

No. Your list is used for your review only, and I won't post anything from it without your OK.

When does booking open?

Soon. The booking link will go up on this page and on Instagram.
